I am a Person Centred Counsellor who is able to intergrate other counselling techniques as needed so that you the client gets the right type of counselling for your needs. Person Centred counselling provides the right conditions for you to be able to talk about your situation and to be listened to in a caring and non-judgemental way. I will not give you advice or tell you what to do, but I will help you to look at how you can solve your problems in a way that will work for you as an individual.
My experience in providing counselling for a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, OCD, sexual abuse, depression, bullying, sexuality, self-harm, phobias, childhood issues, bereavement, trauma and relational difficulties allows me to work with clients of all ages, both male and female.
I also have experience of working with issues relating to work place stress, self esteem, female related problems and post natal depression believing that having an opportunity to explore the issue you are experiencing can lead to the possibility of change and improve the quality of your relationships and life in general.
Prior to becoming a Counsellor, I was a coach/development manager within the workplace which involved supporting many people with difficult times at work linked to work place stress. I also work as Counselling Supervisor within a School Setting working with children of all ages. I have vast experience of working with children in a therapeutic setting.
